Daily Workout - Arms in Home Gym

I was out of town overnight without the use of a gym and was with friends last night and just got back in this afternoon so yesterday I was not able to do a workout. Back at it again tonight, I have been trying to keep things up for my upcoming trip to Hawaii early next month but there have been many distractions and opportunities for good eats. I'm not doing too bad but I could be doing better... I've got about a week to go so maybe I can buckle down and shed the last few pounds?

  • Warmup: 12 minutes of Elliptical
  • Biceps: Dumbbell Curls - three sets
  • Biceps: Pulley Bar Curls - three sets
  • Triceps: Overhead Single Barbell Press - 2 sets
  • Triceps: Pulley extensions - 3 sets
  • Abs: Wheel Forward Extensions, Side Leg Raises.

Total workout time: About 1 hour.

Daily Workout - Arms in Home Gym

I'm posting this a workout a day late but better late than never! Not much to say, I just got an Arms Workout in early in the day this time which is nice for a change.

  • Warmup: 12 minutes of Elliptical
  • Biceps: Dumbbell Curls - three sets
  • Biceps: Pulley bar curls - three sets
  • Triceps: Bench press narrow grip - 3 sets
  • Triceps: Pulley extensions - 3 sets
  • Abs: Leg raises - 100

Total workout time: About 1 hour.

Daily Workout - Arms at Fitness World

Not too much to report today, only managed to get a quick drop-in Arms workout at Fitness World today...

  • Biceps: Dumbbell Curls Standing - Starting light - 3 sets.
  • Biceps: Universal Curls Standing - 3 sets.
  • Triceps: Universal Machine Extensions - 3 sets.
  • Triceps: Pull Downs with Curl Bar - 3 sets.
  • Triceps: Narrow Triceps pushups.

 Total workout time: About 45 minutes.

Daily Workout - Arms with Total Gym

I'm back at home and back in my own gym with all my usually gear. Todays workout is the last of my upper body using the Total Gym. My hand is almost back to 100% so it really make the workouts a lot smoother. I just wish I could get rid of my ongoing shoulder pain in my right shoulder. I've had that for almost a year now so I don't think it's going away any time soon. I'm pretty sure it's some torn cartilage as I did it doing some MMA wrestling. Well enough whining for now...
  • 10 Minutes Elliptical.
  • Biceps: Lying Down Curls with Total Gym. (3 Sets with an increase in the incline each time)
  • Biceps: Seated Curls with Total Gym. (2 Sets with a increase in the incline each time)
  • Triceps: Seated Overhead Extension with the Total Gym.
  • Triceps: Lying Down Extension with the Total Gym.
  • Triceps: Rear Extension with the Total Gym.
  • Abs: Forward and Side Twists with Total Gym.

Total workout time: About 1 hour.

Daily Workout - Arms Home Gym

I did another late evening workout again - worked all day... I have had some tendon pain in my right bicep for some time that doesn't want to go away, I had a similar pain in my left arm but more in the upper forearm and it lasted for several months but now it feel great. It's amazing how one muscle can interfere with your workout so much.

The only way I know to overcome this is to start out really light until the muscle loosens up and then make sure not to overwork it which can be hard because once it warms up it usually feels prety good. You'll pay for it later if you go to heavy!

  • 10 Minutes Elliptical.
  • Biceps: Dumbbell Curls Standing - Starting light - Five sets.
  • Triceps: Seated Overhead Single Dumbbell Extensions.
  • Triceps: Pull Downs with Curl Bar.
  • Abs: Crunches and Leg Raises.

 Total workout time: About 1 hour.
