Daily Workout - Shoulders in Home Gym

I managed to get a workout in today!!! Just got to keep plugging away and just remember winter won't last forever :)

  • Shoulder Press with Smith Machine.
  • Barbell Shoulder Flies in Three Positions: Forward, Side, Behind.
  • Upright Row Raises with Pulley.
  • Shoulder Shrugs with Smith Machine Straight Bar & Barbells.
  • Misc. Stretching.

Total workout time: About 1 hour.

'Tis the Season to Get Sick!

WOW, it's been a week of phlegm! I have been in no shape to workout for over a week, I did do a quick back workout a few days ago but then the next day I kind of paid for it. I'm still hacking up Lord knows what but at least now I'm starting to feel human again and may attempt another workout tonight :)

Daily Workout - Chest - Home Gym - Cold & Flu Season

This year has been a tuff one for colds and flues in our family. The kids have brought home pretty much every single virus and cold from school you can imagine. They seem to not get effected too badly, but my poor wife has been getting nailed hard by them... And for me, I have faired pretty well so far, but lately they seem to be creeping up on me and doing a bit more damage. Today I feel another one coming on but I got into the gym anyways. Tomorrow it may get worse and I may have to rest it out. 

  • Bench Press with Dumbbells.
  • Incline Dumbbell Flies.
  • 3 Stage Pushups: Planche, Extended, and Regular.
  • Abs: 100 Crunches.
  • Misc. Stretching.

Total workout time: About 1 hour.

Daily Workout - When it gets Busy

It's that time of year again when things get so busy, with all the  shopping, kids events, social gatherings and who knows what else. And then there is all the food and drink and lack of exercise...

Don't get too worried about it because January 1st is almost here too so what ever bad stuff you do now you can fix then. But just remember the worse you are now the better you are going to have to be in the new year :)

I try to do what I can and remember all the hard work I have been doing all year long. But, I still like to enjoy all the fun this time of year brings, and it's hard to do if you can't eat anything or don't have time cause you're in the gym all the time.

Over the last 4 days I did manage to get into the Gym a couple of times and did some Total Gym routines covering my Cardio, Shoulders, Arms and Abs. And I may even just get another one in today?!

Daily Workout - Back with Total Gym

I've been struggling with a bit of a soar throat and tiredness the last few days so I took it easy. I'm starting to feel a bit better but not at 100% yet. It was time to get in the gym and get back at her...

  • Total Gym - Seated Wide Row (Various Positions).
  • Total Gym - Seated Narrow Row (Various Positions).
  • Total Gym - Pull Downs (Lying on Back).
  • Abs: Side Twists in forward position with Total Gym.
  • Misc. Stretching.

Total workout time: About 1 hour.
