Daily Workout - Back in Home Gym

About a week ago I started cutting down on my food intake a bit. Over the summer I put on a few pounds and unfortunately none of it was muscle!! I'm not talking about a lot of fat but enough that now that I am heading off to Maui in less than a month - I want to get back to a solid 175 pounds. Right now I'm a bit over and I could stand to put just a bit more muscle back on. So for the next 4 weeks I have to stay focused. It's good to have goals and rewards.

  • Elliptical Warmup - 12 minutes
  • Wide Bar Pull Downs (In Front of Head).
  • Narrow Bar Pull Downs (In Front of Head).
  • Standing Bar Rows.
  • Abs: Side Crunches
  • Misc. Stretching

Total workout time: About 1 hour.

Daily Workout - Elliptical

Not much to report today, I'm still kind of sore from my Upper Body and Lower Body workouts, so I just did some Elliptical Cardio today. That's OK, it's just as important to give your muscles some time to rest, as it is to workout your muscles!

Daily Workout - Legs in Home Gym

I did a bit of a split workout today. This morning I started with some Cardio on the Punching Bag for about 12 minutes - It's harder than you think! Then I did a bunch of Ab work.

This evening I did a complete Leg Workout.

Morning:

  • Punching Bag - 12 Minutes.
  • Abs - Misc Twists, Crunches and Leg Raises.

Evening:

  • Squats with Smith Machine.
  • Calf Raises: with Smith machine.
  • Leg Extensions: Bench with leg attachment.
  • Leg Curls: Bench with leg attachment.
  • Misc. lower body stretching.

Total workout time: About 1.5 hours..

Daily Workout - Upper Body in Custom Health Fitness Gym

I have been out of town on business for the last few days in Santa Rosa California. I have been staying at a Holliday Inn but they are under construction and don't have a gym right now so they gave me a pass to an Interesting Gym. The Gym was www.CustomHwalth-Fitness.com and they are a 24 hour card access gym that has access even when there is no staff! Since today was Sunday there was nobody working today, kind of weird! Anyways I did get a full upper body workout with some cardio and abs worked in too.

Daily Workout - Shoulders at Home Gym

I did a bit of a split workout today. This morning I did my Cardio and Abs and then showered and headed out for some errands. And in the evening I got my Shoulder workout in. Makes it a bit easier sometimes to split it up..

Morning workout:

  • Warmup: Elliptical for 12 Minutes.
  • Abs: Misc Crunches & Leg Raises.

Evening Workout:

  • Shoulder Press with Smith Machine.
  • Barbell Shoulder Flies in Three Positions: Forward, Side, Behind.
  • Upright Row Raises with Pulley.
  • Shoulder Shrugs with Smith Machine Straight Bar.
  • Misc. Stretching.

Total workout time: About 1.25 hours.
