Daily Workout - Back, Shoulders & Arms

Today was party day for my Mother-in-law, she turned 65. This is one of the reason I have been so busy around the house cleaning and prepping! I really wanted to get a quick workout in today and I needed to catchup on some exercises I missed the last three days due to all the work around the house...

I managed to get a Back, Shoulders and Arms workout done before I had to get ready for the 65th birthday party.

Daily Workout - More Yard Work!!

For the last three days all I have been doing is yard work. The last two days it's been more like "House Work" but not on the inside, I've been power washing and cleaning like a mad man... 10 hour days. My house has white vinyl siding and it can get really nasty looking in a hurry. And then there is the brick and concert to deal with. There's also a small shed/guest house and the pool house that was filled with all kinds of pool related stuff that all needed cleaning... Well, it's done now and tomorrow morning I am hitting the gym. I can't say that the last three days have been a break. I would much rather have done my regular workouts but then my house and yard wouldn't look as good as they do now. Maybe I'll take a picture of it tomorrow??

Daily Workout - Yard Work at Home

Not too much to say today other than I spent all day doing yard work. It consisted of weed eating, mowing, and more filling holes in the yard. This took me about 6 hours to do and left me beat by the end of the day. I would have to say I burned around 2500 - 3000 calories in all, and had no more energy to do an actual workout.

Daily Workout - Chest in Home Gym

I went to my Chiropractor today for another visit (Second one) and she didn't have to do too much! She said I was good for a while now and could come back in a month or two for a minor maintenance adjustment. I have to say before this recent session, I was not a Chiropractor fan. When I was in my early twenties I had what you would call a very bad experience and swore I would never go back and see another chiropractor. So for years I have lived with moderate back pain. As it looks now this may have been for nothing!

Anyways, today I did a very late Chest workout (After midnight).

  • Warmup: Elliptical.
  • Bench Press with Dumbells.
  • Incline Dumbbell Press Flies.
  • 3 Stage Pushups: Planche, Extended, and Regular.
  • Abs: Side Twists.
  • Misc. Stretching.

Total workout time: About 1 hour.

Daily Workout - Elliptical

Today I skipped my Leg workout and just used my Elliptical, I did two sessions of Elliptical for a total of 20 minute or 400 calories burned. I really don't have any problem building leg muscle and even just doing the Elliptical as my regular warmup exercises is probably enough for me to keep my legs toned... Next week I'll start back up with legs, it's been a good idea to lay off for a while and let my back get back to normal.
