I picked up some Ray Ban Meta AI Smart Glasses a bit ago not only for their AI and Smart Features, but to also get some first person perspective videos and photos using the built in HD camera.
Why not give the Ray Ban Meta's a real world test while out walking the dogs at Brydon Lagoon? We'll call this one of my Adventure Videos although it was not a new adventure for us as we have been to Brydon Lagoon many times walking the dogs and they love it.
The Ray Ban Meta shoot video in portrait mode only so I had to play around with the aspect ratios and cropping a bit while editing, as this video was made for YouTube and not so much for other portrait mode social media feeds.
I have been using camera glasses of some sort since the beginning with my www.ReplicaAirguns.com channel, starting off with actual ski type goggles that had a built in camera which was not ideal as they were super bulky. I did eventually get some camera glasses that where actual glasses and looked more or less like oversized sunglasses without the dark lenses but they where a big improvement over the ski goggles I was using. For the past 2-3 years I have been using my iVue Vista Camera Glasses for making these videos and they have worked pretty well for the most part but none of the camera glasses I have used in the past have any type of image stabilization which does make for some erratic video head movement.
So when I came across the Ray Ban Meta AI Smart Glasses, which I quickly learned and saw had some decent stabilization in them I thought maybe it's time to upgrade my camera glasses. The Ray Ban Meta AI Smart Glasses also do a lot more than typical Camera glasses. Not only do they have a stabilized 12mp camera with 1080p+ resolution, the Ray Ban Meta AI Smart Glasses has some very good audio for recording and hearing with a 5 mic setup and some actual usable in arm speakers. On top of the superior audio, the Ray Ban Meta's have "Hey Meta" which is like Siri or Google Assistant but it can also tap into Meta AI and do even more in terms of voice commands. You will even be able to look at something and ask Meta what you are looking at and Meta will tell you all about it.
I do hope to use the Ray Ban Meta AI Smart Glasses for a lot more than when I do my Replica Airguns Shooting Videos, I hope to use them for more spontaneous video recording on my www.GetFitOver40.com channel since they are super easy to use and you always have them ready to record.
I did order the Sunglass version but regretted it almost immediately, and so I have ordered the transitions lens version so I can use my Ray Ban Meta's both inside and out. The other negative feature for me is that the video camera records in portrait mode only and for only up to 1 minute in length. I do think I can work with this limitation as the video quality is good enough to allow for zooming and cropping when need be, and I should be able to work around the 1 minute recording time limitation by recording more selectively and simply starting another 1 min video when I need for additional time.
In this Ray Ban Meta AI Smart Glasses video, watch me Unbox, Setup and record some initial videos. I also talk a bit about why I got them and what my initial thoughts are after checking them out.
2024 is here! Wow! I say a lot in this video so I will not be covering it all in this brief post. What I do want to focus on is that we are always being pulled in life in so many directions and these "distractions" often get used as excuses to avoid what we should really be focusing on.
Throughout your life you will be trying to balance time verses money versus health, most people will not have all of them at the same time. When young, you have lots of time and health but no money. Through your middle years you tend to have your health and money but little time. When you get older you have time and money but not as much health.
No matter which ones of these you currently have, you still need to find whatever available time, resources and health you have and use them wisely because your window of opportunity for each is limited and once they are gone it is too late.
As Christmas and New year approach, I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. According to my religious beliefs I concelebrate Christmas and I do so unapologetically. I know we live in a multicultural world with a variety of religions and beliefs. If you do not celebrate Christmas as many of us do here in Canada, then I wish you a wonderful holiday season nonetheless.
I look forward to 2024 and hope the new year brings prosperity to those deserving of it. May the righteous prevail over the unrighteous and good over evil.
For those following me over on Replica Airguns, I will be going to SHOT Show this year after a three year hiatus. I am really looking forward to seeing all the venders and new products they are showcasing at SHOT Show 2024.
For my GetFitOver40 audience I am taking things day by day and as I feel better and better I hope to be able to do more and more and perhaps maybe even do a show this year, but more on my own terms and my own timeline.
This video is for the most part a Mini Review, so don't expect a lot of specifications and a dedicated unboxing. I do talk about why I decided to pickup a set of the Monster Mission V1 TWS Low Latency Earbuds and that would mainly be because they offer Low Latency at about 40m/s which is pretty good for a Bluetooth based system.
Why do I need Low Latency Earbuds? Maybe you also have noticed when watching a movie or video while using a pair of BT Earbuds, there is often a significant delay which makes the sound not line up very well which can be rather distracting. Low Latency corrects this by making the delay much shorter and a lot less noticeable.
I have not seen many Bluetooth Earbuds that offer Low Latency, usually Earbuds accomplish this by incorporating their own dongle that uses an RF signal. You could also simply use wired Earbuds but who want wires?
I may not go over a lot of the specifications of the Monster Mission V1 TWS Low Latency Earbuds in this Mini Review Video but I do talk about the main points that interest me. Like the Low Latency Mode, the overall Sound Quality, the Build Quality along with some basic functionality.
