RubBall Versus Hypersphere Reveiw Comparison with Unboxing

First of all I would like to thank the makers of the RubBall for sending me out my sample unit for review! In this Comparison / Unboxing Review I of course unbox the RubBall to show everyone exactly what to expect when they purchase a RubBall for themselves. I also compare the RubBall to a very similar product I also reviewed a few years back from Hyperice called the Hypersphere. You could almost say the RubBall is designed much like the Hypersphere in most ways which makes this review and comparison appropriate and even RubBall suggested I do a side by side comparison review of both Massage Balls.

If you haven't already figured out what the RubBall and Hypersphere are built for, well they are compact and portable vibrating massage balls, ideal for aching or even injured muscle.

Project Tree Trunks Update Video

I would have to say that in Classic Physique my weakest body part is going to be my legs, it's not that I have small legs but rather the guys competing in Classic Physique simply have kind of big legs, bigger than the guys back in the actual Classic days like Arnold that had decent legs for sure but nothing like the bodybuilders stepping on stage today.

I's not that I don't work my legs just as much or as hard as my upper body, perhaps it may be my age? As guys get older our legs seem to not respond as well to training at least in terms of size, now at 51 I feel m y legs are fairly strong in comparison to my upper body and not even that unbalanced in size but to be comparable to the Classic Physique guys I stand beside I will have to bring them up to be competitive so here we are today...

My plan is to train legs every workout day which for me is 6 days a week, I will incorporate 3 compound movement days that will consist of either a squat, deadlift or Leg press of some sort, between these compound improvement days I will incorporate isolation exercises like leg extensions and curls and modified versions of these exercises.

A few years back I trained shoulders in a similar manner hitting them every time I stepped into the gym, not super hard every workout but atleast hitting them in some way every workout and low and behold they grew!

Right now my upper thighs are 23.75 inches in my left leg and 23.5 inches in my right leg. My plan is to remeasure them every month and see what the tape measure tells us. Hopefully we see monthly improvements.

Bellow are some photos to get an idea of what you will see in the video...

Follow Up - WC Iron Vancity Showdown

Overall I would have to say this years Wescoat Iron Vancity Showdown was a win for me personally even though I may not have placed exactly where I wanted to. I always go into these shows with only one expectation. That is to come as prepared as I possibly can with a game plan in place and if I get on that stage having succeeded in my plan and showing up the way I wanted to then it is already a win for me.

This year that is exactly what happened, my prep went really well and I feel I was able to get in if not the best shape I have ever been in, then for sure as good as past shows where I nailed it. On top of that I had no injuries leading up to this show and no issues with my health. My body felt great and responded great to everything I threw at it including some pretty crazy amounts of carbs without having any negative effects like spilling over or bloating up after the show.

Perhaps I will make a another video on what the future holds for me since right now that is uncertain and I like to give things a bit of time before I make any plans moving forward...

Contest Day Westcoast Iron Vancity Showdown

Follow along with me from start to finish Contest Day of the Westcoast Iron Vancity Showdown! Sorry no actual show photos or video since this was a closed show only available via a live stream to view. I did purchase stage photos and video of my performance and will make a video for each of those when they are available to me at a later time.

How did I do? Well you'll have to watch to find out, no spoiler alerts, I can say it was a very credible show with some very high level competitors, it was no cake walk and every show the competition seems to get better and better as the sport progresses and becomes more popular.
