Get Fit Over 40 - Human Trainer Back Workout

Moving forward with my series utilizing the Human Trainer Body Weight Suspension System, I focus on the back and go over some of the best core exercises to strengthen and build your back muscles. Pull-ups are some of the best exercises you can do for your back, the Human Trainer allows you to do some great variations of pull-ups and even give yourself a bit of assistance if you can not yet do a full pull-up on your own.

I also show you how you can do a traditional row using the Human Trainer and again add some variation to it for better focus on the back.

Make sure to also checkout my Human Trainer Chest Workout Video and also my quick Preview Video for the Human Trainer.

Get Fit Over 40 Update Video - My Body is Breaking Down

Another Update Video for you, I while back I was perhaps being a bit overconfident when I said that I was feeling pretty good and my body seemed to be holding out, even with the extra strain of the Crossfit I was putting on it... Well that didn't last long, it seems that I have been plagued with a bunch of annoying small injuries or pains that are persistently sticking with me even when trying to give them some rest.

I think some of it is the extra yard work I have been doing which when combined with all the other exercise I am doing at the same time maybe took things over the top. I have been suffering with pain in my right knee and right arch of my foot and also carpal tunnel in both my hands but more so with my left, so much so that tow of my fingers are staying numb all the time which kind of worries me :(

I have setup an appointment with a Kinesiologist that was highly recommended to me from my Crossfit trainer, they break me and he fixes me, nice scam they have going on here ;) I will let you know how my appointment goes...

Get Fit Over 40 - Human Trainer Suspension System Chest Workout

Todays YouTube Workout Video focuses on the Chest using the Human Trainer Body Weight Suspension System.

As promised I wanted to make some videos for my viewers where I show you how to use the Human Trainer Body Weight Suspension System. I was thinking about splitting them into two videos, an upper body and lower body video but then quickly realized that the videos would have to much content and I would be rushing thought them and getting really tired ;)

So anyways I am going to break the videos down into each separate body part, some will have only one or two exercises and some will have several for each body part but this way I can really focus in and show you how to use the Human Trainer Body Weight Suspension System.

Get Fit Over 40 Update Video - More Crossfit in July

I wanted to share with you what I've been up to the past few weeks since I have not spent much "face-time" in front of the camera since I have been doing more tekkie Wristband review stuff. As much as I like the geek side of things it's nice to get back to doing some more workout related videos.

In short, I spent a fair amount of time in June doing Crossfit workouts, at least 3-4 per week and I was still doing my at-home workouts, maybe not as intense at home but I still wanted to touchup on some body parts in my home gym.

The Crossfit workouts definitely added another layer to my workout program and I find they really help push me to the next level and not only incorporate cardio but also powerlifting and body weight exercises. I really noticed it in my legs as we do a lot of power leg work. At the beginning of June I weighed in at about 171-172 and at the end of June I gained 5 pounds weighing in at around 176-177. The good news is my core body weight went up about 5-6 pounds so pretty much all of the weight is muscle.

I got my wife to come down and try out some Crossfit and she ended up liking it so much she joined up with me for a year membership! I hope to share with you some of the Crossfit workouts in the future!
