2 Days Out - Victoria Cup VLog - GetFitOver40

Soon it will be show time, only 2 Days Out from my Men's Physique Fitness Contest at the Victoria Cup. In this shorter Video Log I show you all my meals that I pre-made to take along with my wife and I on our trip to Victoria BC. A combination of Pacific Cod, Chicken Breast, Mixed Veggies and Sweet Potatoes. With a steak thrown in for my early morning pre-show breakfast :) I will also be snacking on some rice cakes from time to time to help me get my required carb intake to help fill back in my depleted muscles.

3 Days Out - Victoria Cup VLog With Posing - GetFitOver40

Only a few more days till my Victoria Cup Men's Physique Fitness Contest, and today I got to eat some carbs (Some sweet potato and rice cakes).

I talk about some of the foods I am eating and how they change a bit as I get closer to the event, I also drop by my CrossFit Gym to take advantage of their large mirrors and do some posing practice which I show you a bit of. After my posing I did manage to get a second workout in and I am pretty sure it is my last workout till after the Victoria Cup.

Cultus Lake Water Slides - GetFitOver40

This past Sunday the family headed out along with our two Japanese Students to go have some fun in the sun at the Cultus Lake Water Slides in Chilliwack BC Canada.

I brought along my Sony Action Cam (in its waterproof case of course) to record some of the days fun rides.

4 Days Out - Victoria Cup VLog With Posing - GetFitOver40

Getting real close now to the Victoria Cup Men's Physique Fitness Contest and the best part is tomorrow I get to have some actual simple carbs again, well at least in the evening. It has been a long time since I had some rice or potatoes or any real hearty carbs so anything is going to taste fantastic!

In this VLog post I show you some of my food prep and of course the finished meal ready to eat. I talk a bit about my calories and macros for the day and do a bit of real basic posing to give you an idea of where I am in terms of my pre show conditioning.Keep in mind I am really depleted and need to fill in a bit as I have zero glycogens in my system.

5 Days Out Victoria Cup VLog - GetFitOver40

Only 5 days more to go till the Victoria Cup where I will be competing in the Men's Physique Masters and Open Classes!

In this Video Log I talk about some of the foods and beverages I am consuming, what my workout plans are for the week and I also show you my new Business Card and a really cool tech item from EC Technology I got in the mail today and plan to review for you once I have had a chance to test it out :)
